Product scenes for the back-to-school season

I created visuals and videos for Deniz Plaza’s back-to-school campaign, covering bag collections, toys and books. Real product photographs appear in different settings, with prices, discounts and weekly giveaway information presented in concise, readable layouts.

A Fenerbahçe licensed backpack, lunch bag and pencil cases on a yellow-and-navy stadium road.
A Beşiktaş licensed backpack and pencil case on a black-and-white stadium set.

Project context

The plan included back-to-school, discounts, weekly giveaways, licensed fan bags, a music-group collection, toys, books and opening hours. These different product families needed to connect within one retailer’s communication.

New settings needed to preserve each product’s silhouette, colour, logo and label. The layout had to leave space for campaign headlines while brand names and discount figures remained accurate.

Collection scenes

Each range gets its own colour and scene. One headline, a single supporting line; the curled corner and logo bottom right.

Design approach

I used store and manufacturer photographs in Photoshop, with AI for the surroundings. Fan bags were paired with red-and-gold silk and a stadium, the music collection with a lilac podium, and back-to-school products with warm desk settings.

I limited copy to one main headline and at most one supporting line. A turned-page corner and bottom-right logo connected different products and campaigns within the series.

Production process

  1. Organising product families

I matched fan, bag, music, toy and book groups to the plan’s campaign topics. Products appearing together were placed from their photographs.

  2. A setting for the collection

Colour, surfaces and lighting followed the collection’s subject. I preserved the real product’s silhouette, colour, logo and label.

  3. Campaign information and motion

Headlines and supporting lines left room for the products. I made a reel for the major giveaway and separately checked brand names and discount figures.
