Product communication through the school calendar

I created social content for Ceren’s Play-Doh Art & Activity products, shaped by the school calendar and children’s activities. Real product packaging appears alongside AI-created children and settings across static posts, animated content and stories.

Three children draw a map with pastels in a wooden cabin.

Project context

The six-month plan ran roughly every other day and covered back-to-school, Teachers’ Day, 10 November, New Year and report-card season. Each topic needed a fresh setting while keeping the product series visually connected.

The scenes did not use photographs of real children. AI-created surroundings and figures needed to leave room for visible, real product packaging and a clear headline.

Posts from the feed

In every post the product sits inside the scene, logo bottom right. Some carry a short headline, some only the scene.

This selection includes scenes I generated with AI.

Design approach

An aquarium-blue room, a park picnic, a sunset window and winter lights placed the stationery products in activity settings. I added real packaging to scenes whose children and surroundings were created with AI.

I kept headlines at the top, products in the centre and the logo at the bottom right. Around 15 animated posts used a shared headline entrance in After Effects, with a 9:16 template for vertical stories.

Animated posts

The same layout in motion: a short move in the scene and a headline that appears.

Production process

  1. From calendar to content

The plan covered back-to-school in September and October, Teachers’ Day and 10 November in November, New Year in December and report-card season in January.

  2. Products in activity settings

I connected pens, paints and glue with different children’s activities. Placing the real packaging in each scene kept product information within the image.

  3. Typography and motion

I applied the shared headline entrance to different scenes. Moving from posts to stories required a new arrangement of text, product and logo for the vertical proportions.
